ULTIMATE Backboard
ULTIMATE Backboard
Backboard: A single sheet of HDPE Plastic with various numbers and sizes of handholds and strapping points.
All Wildlife Toy Box Rescue Backboards are constructed of High-Density Polyethylene. This material is very strong and easy to clean with common household cleaners. It is resistant to most chemicals.
We have (2) distinct versions of Backboards: Basic and Ultimate. The versions differ by number of grab points and design of grab points. Both versions are available in (3) wall thicknesses:1/4”, 3/8”, and ½”. Other thicknesses can be special ordered.
The corners of all Backboard versions are rounded for safety. All edges on both sides are also rounded to reduce drag.
All (4) sides, as well as the interiors, of all Backboard versions have multiple handholds and strapping points.
The Ultimate Backboard version offers many options for strapping including multiple levels of horizontal and vertical strapping in combination with multiple options for diagonal strapping. The strapping points for diagonal strapping are angled to lessen the force on each strapping point to increase Backboard longevity.
Each side of most Backboards will be pre-drilled for the optional use of our Bull Nose if that side is 47-1/2” or larger.
